Aft4r installing themedreamer, I get the error message:”while executing btn themeDreamerWP_Enable enabled in tool bars.XML the following javascript error (s) occurred type error: dw.get documentDOM () has no properties.
When I try to clear this error I get a sound from the computer and it recycles the error message. I cannot get into dreamweaver and the only way to regain control of my computer is to stop the processs with control, alt, delete.

  2. admin Says:

We have confirmed this issue. This problem can occur if the ThemeDreamer toolbar is not docked with the document window and Dreamweaver has been closed and reopened.

***UPDATE*** This issue has been resolved in version 0.4.1

Hi - after installing it and running in trial mode, I went ahead and bought it; got my serial number - where do I enter it? I don’t see a place to enter the serial (though it did prompt on initial install). I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but it still doesn’t prompt for a serial - will it do so at the end of 15 days into the trial, or? how do I enter the serial?

    thanks,

    ken

  4. admin Says:

The current release does not currently allow users to enter a serial number until after the trial period has expired (15 days). We apologize for this inconvenience and will address this issue in the upcoming releases.

this extension package is not compatible with this version of the Macromedia Extension manager….

  6. admin Says:

“Macromedia Extension Manager” means that you maybe using an older version of Dreamweaver. Please check that you are using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 or Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. Other versions of Dreamweaver are not supported. If you are using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 or Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 and are still experiencing problems, you maybe able to resolve these issues by using the latest version of Extension Manager for your Dreamweaver version:

Dreamweaver 8 users can try Extension Manager 1.7.

Dreamweaver CS3 users can try Extension Manager 1.8

If you are still experiencing install issues, please contact us at support@themedreamer.com with your Operating System version (OSX or Windows XP, Vista) and your Dreamweaver version (Dreamweaver 8 or Dreamweaver CS3).

Please note that not all third party themes are compatible with ThemeDreamer’s real-time render engine at this time (version .3). First verify that your installation is working correctly by going to http://www.wordpress.org and downloading the latest version of WordPress (2.6.1). Unzip the contents to a folder and open the default theme under [your folder]\wp-content\themes\default\index.php. Per the installation directions on our download page, the default theme should render correctly and as it appears in our screenshots on this website. This will verify that your installation is working correctly.

You can now open your third party theme and see if it is supported by ThemeDreamer’s real-time rendering. In some situations, ThemeDreamer will attempt to render as much information as possible to provide some instant design feedback. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee full compatibility at this time.

It is our goal to attain 99.9% compatibility by our final release version 1.0. Newer releases of ThemeDreamer will incorporate increased compatibility and support for WordPress plugins that alter a theme’s visual appearance. Please be sure to register with your correct email address and you will be notified of the latest release.

“Press the Blue TD button in the upper right hand corner of the toolbar to toggle rendering on/off”

  10. admin Says:

The ThemeDreamer toolbar may not be enabled by default on Mac OS X running CS4. To turn on the toolbar, select the View->Toolbars->ThemeDreamer for WordPress from the View pull down menu.

The toolbar should appear as show here: http://www.themedreamer.com/osxtoolbar.jpg

Please note that to toggle the blue button, you must open a WordPress theme such as the default theme located in wp-contents/themes/default/index.php from the WordPress download at http://www.wordpress.org
